The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

It happened. My Genshin Impact curse has been lifted. Now I'm (free) free-falling through Hyrule every other night.

I had great intentions of continuing to do the Genshin dailies while playing Tears of the Kingdom, and I did so for the first week after Zelda was released. But that was just not feasible. Life is pulling me in other directions at the moment.

So far, of the four temples I've completed, the Wind one has been my favourite. The temple itself is kind of whatever, but the platforming to get there was extremely fun, and divebombing through the boss was incredibly satisfying.

The Depths were a nice surprise. Quickly mapped the entire place with the help of my noble steed, the fan bike. I'd like to take this moment to appreciate the greatest creation in the entire game:

Depths? Easy. Shrine Crystal? No worries. Korok delivery? On time. [REDACTED] Dragon? [REDACTED].

The abilities in Tears of the Kingdom are very empowering and encourage Fun experimentation, which doesn't happen as often as I would like in most games.

I'm conflicted. Part of me wants a Creative Mode without the limitations on the parts and batteries, but the other part of me has spent hundreds (thousands?) of hours in Minecraft and has never touched the creative mode. Should I try Minecraft Creative Mode? NO! I model digital buildings at work all day every day and absolutely don't need to do more of it when I get home.

Creating a physical object is extremely appealing to me at the moment. So it didn't take much for my friends to coax me back to an old (short-lived) hobby of mine: Warhammer 40k.

The new 10th Edition rules and datasheets are currently being released, so I figured I would wait until then before really sinking my teeth in. This seems like the logical next step in my hobby journey after D&D. I'll probably do a separate post on my creations, but let me just say, I love magnets.

PS. I am constantly breaking my Wordle streaks now because I keep forgetting to do it on the weekends.
