Wordle

I currently consider Wordle to be the most consistently I’ve ever played a game in my entire life. For 384 days, I woke up and the first thing I did was play Wordle. Eventually I missed a day and broke the streak, but I kept coming back. 

My stats are slightly untrue. I have never got it in one. The day that the New York Times bought Wordle and transferred the website over to their domain, I got a second crack at it. So I entered the same word that had won it for me earlier in the day, and got my fraudulent victory.

I’m not in it for the glory of the guess, I’m in it for the long haul. My starting word has always been STARE. It’s knocks out the most common letters and hasn’t failed me yet. To my knowledge it hasn’t been used yet, so there’s a chance I can get my single guess day. If that day comes, I’ve toyed with the idea of retiring. But at this point it may just be part of my life indefinitely? Who can say? Once again, time will tell.
